"Most people will just call that a 'yes,' Twilight," Dusk said, giggling.
"Feel fortunate, Twi," Zack added with a grin. "Your neck doesn't seem to be anywhere near as bad as my feet. Or as touchy as Zira's."
"Excuse me?" Zira interjected, only catching the last bit of conversation.
Oh come on, Boss, I didn't even mean it like that this time! Zack thought to Soahc.
"Head in the clouds again, Az'?" he said lightly as he attempted to smooth things over. "I was just telling Twi he should feel lucky that the back of his neck isn't as touchy as yours."
"...I see," Zira murmured. "Will you excuse me? I think I'd like to take a little walk." He gave a bow to the group and headed off.
Jane blinked after her son and looked at Zack questioningly, as did Dusk and Midnight.
"He's not happy with me right now," Zack admitted. "Short version, I pointed out he is a little sensitive right after he said he didn't want someone to think he was, and told him he was proving my point when he got a little snippy about it."
"Oh, Zack," Jane murmured, shaking her head.
Dusk and Midnight looked at each other.
"Do you want to, or shall I?" Midnight asked.
"Let's both."
A moment later, Zack 'oofed' softly as the twins each smacked him in the head with one wing.
Schuldig, listening in on the exchange via Midnight, the only one-signed elemental in the group, gave a soft snort of amusement. Okay, so the man was shy, reserved, and sensitive. Possibly physically as well as emotionally.
~Just a 'little' headache?~ he queried after Zira had walked away a piece. ~Pain can make you overreact to simple things, you know.~ It was a risk suggesting to the man that he was overreacting, but it seemed he already realized that he was.
~I know, I know,~ Zira murmured, rubbing his temples. ~So can not taking a few moments away to really calm down.~
~I can help you ease that frustration a bit,~ Schuldig said softly, stroking lightly over the other Mind's awareness as he watched the man, smirking as he saw Zira stop in his tracks to close his eyes for a moment.
Very responsive. Good.
