Evanlyn smiles as she's informed of the arrival of the first of her guests and goes to the sitting room to meet him. "You must be Packmaster Thavan, is that right?" she asks. "It's a pleasure to meet you," she adds, giving a small curtsy.
"Pack leader," Thavan couldn't help but correct, but it was nearly reflexive and there is no irritation in his voice as he bows slightly to the other woman. Thavan was attired in his better Beastland garbs and a warm woolen cloak hung on his lean frame. "Thank you again for letting me hold our meeting in Ilyamen. It's not that I feared the Beastlands would be dangerous but, well, it's not exactly impressive..."
"My appologies," Evanlyn replies, looking flustered at her mistake. "It was no trouble, really," she assures her fellow leader. "None at all. Oh! You've had a long journey, forgive me for not making you comfortable. Would you like anything to eat or drink?"
"I could eat a horse," Thavan admits as he glances around and takes a seat. "I suspect that the other leaders won't be terribly long in coming. I made sure to send advanced notice." The young leader blushes faintly as he admits, "Mostly because I was excited. Both about my find, and getting a chance to be in the presence of so many important people."
Evanlyn smiles. "I'm excited myself, and a little nervous as well." She gives a request for a light meal to be brought to Thavan and takes a seat. "I haven't had a chance to meet any of the other Leaders yet, either. Frankly I'm just hoping I don't trip over my feet while greeting them or anything."
"You'll manage fine, I'm sure," Thavan assures her. "You've made me feel welcome already."
Evanlyn smiles. "I'm glad," she replies as a servant brings a plate of sandwiches and a glass of juice to Thavan. "So what is it you found?" she adds curiously.
Thavan grins and leans forward to answer but is interrupted at the arrival of the first guest.
