"I don't enjoy being lied to, Flay," Amaro snapped. "That is it. You are offically out of the mercanary guild and I promise you, I will do my best to see that you never get work in anything other then street cleaning. Right now though, you three will remain here while I contact the guards to take all three of you into custody."

Nikki hung her head but said nothing.

However, Anna's head snapped up. "Amaro, sir..." she started, "I understand from where you are coming, and, even knowing that, I want a chance to be able to prove to you that I am better then this. I have money enough to pay them back our fees and more. I...I studied that shield with the priests of Worg and...given the chance, I would like to return to Autus and give my personal apologies when you send the shield back."

There was a pause and her voice cracked. "Without...my partners..."

"You want me to send you back there with the shield you stole?" Amaro repeats slowly. "DO I HAVE IDIOT STAMPED ON MY HEAD?" he roars. "DO YOU HONESTLY BELIEVE I'M SO STUPID AS TO LET YOU ANYWHERE NEAR THAT SHIELD?" Amaro takes a deep breath, unclentches his fists and snarls, "You can do all the appologising you like if the Talen'sul guards decide to throw you to Worg's Fists. I doubt they will care any more then I do." Striding to the door of his office, Amaro sends the nearest merc off to fetch a member of the guard.

A soft sigh.

That was it. Both girls settled themselves down, but Anna took a position far from the other two. If they punished her, she would take it. Beat her, she would take it. It was all due. If they just kicked her from Talen'sul, though...she didn't know what she would do then.

The young guard Raven was quick to the scene, eager to get in on some action as always. He approached Amaro (after being pointed to the correct room by a couple mercs) and looked around, hand on his sword hilt. "What seems to be the problem, m'lord?"

Amaro steps aside to let Ravern into the office and nods towards Nikki, Anna and Flay. "These three... honourless fools stole a valuable item from Autus. This shield." Amaro shows Ravern the shield and the letter from the high priestess. "I'm going to send a couple of Minds in my guild to return the shield, but I want them," he glares at the three thieves, "out of my guild and locked up so I can assure the prestess that they won't be a problem again."

The three of them, Flay, Nikki and Anna, went with Ravern quietly.

No fuss.

No talking.

Just quiet acceptance of their wrong doing.
