Demetria was tired, dirty, and weary after her trek back from the Beastlands. Though teleporting helped to quicken the journey considerably, it was still a tiresome process and she ached with joy at being back in proper civilization.
After a bath and cleaning herself up enough to be presentable, she sought out Nissar.
The guards didn't flinch or waver in the slightest and simply stared at her before receiving some mental instruction from Nissar to open the doors. "You may enter Demetria Winters. Though you should be warned, he has been in a foul mood of late."

Well that wasn't she wanted to hear. Hopefully she would put him in a good mood, and her reward be all the sweeter for this. She strolled in, trying for a saunter of casualness. "Good day to you, Imperator," Demetria purred as she bowed low to him, wings sweeping out gracefully as she did. "I bring you great tidings from the Beastlands."

Irritation flashed in her own face but she hid it quickly. "I managed to acquire the alliance of Bael. Then I assisted him in taking over Beleg. He will not - and honestly cannot at this time - come to Morilanta in order to speak of his debt with you. Therefore on his behalf I request your presence in Beleg of the Beastlands. But it should be discreet. My assistance was very covert and all believe that Bael won his throne by his strength alone."

"I never grew truly comfortable," Demetria scoffed. "But the beast in charge now, Bael, was a stubborn individual to work upon. He required much flattery and coaxing before he began to trust me and heed my words."
"Perhaps. But first I need a full report of what is happening in the Beastlands. Is Clan Beleg in any position to take over?" Nissar asked as he began to split his attention to other mental tasks with practiced ease.
