Alethia smiles and leads Acqua to her bed, coming back downstairs a time later and rummaging around until locating a snack for Faith which she sets down near the cat. "There you are, friend," she murmurs.

Faith purrs her thanks and gets up to eat. As soon as she steps away, the newborns begin to cry.

~Mummy! Mummy!~

Faith turns and stares at her litter, all calling for her, both aloud and in Faith and Alethia's minds. She was not expecting this.

Alethia jumps and opens her mouth in shock. "Faith! Am I hearing things?"

Skip just cocks his head quizzically.

~Not unless we both are...~ Faith replies in a dazed tone. Forgetting her food completely, Faith returns to her kittens and begins nuzzling them, silencing the cries at once. ~Alethia look.~ Faith nudges one of her kittens forward. No longer hidden in his mother's fur, it's easy to spot the mind symbol in his fur if you know to look for it.

Alethia gasped, a hand flying to her mouth in surprise. "Etaf's eyes," she murmured in wonder. "You must be the Forces' own familiar, Faith."

~By the lady no,~ Faith replies with a laugh. ~Kitten's enough work for me. I don't want to imagine what the Lady and her litter-sibs could get up to.~ Purring with pride, Faith nuzzles her kittens towards the food bowl so she can be close to them while eatting.
