Juul found herself pulling up short, he jaw dropping. A...a...little pet?! she found herself thinking indignantly. "E-excuse me but...wh-what is it I am going to be doing?" she asked, forcing her voice to sound meek, but there was a sharp edge to it that she just couldn't mask.

"I'm sure even an animal like you will be able to figure it out," he said with a leer. "Now, you come with me to the barn, or I knock you out and drag you." Sparks flashed warningly from his fingertips as he flicked the whip in his hand at Juul's feet.

The red panda affinity swallowed loudly, her mind whirling. She had a plan to get out, but it was too soon right now. She'd have to play along at least just a little bit longer. Lowering her gaze, she nodded helplessly and followed.

Once they'd reached the barn, the slaver pulled a door open and led the way to a stall, such as where a horse would normally be kept. Instead, the stall held a young man, a lop-eared rabbit affinity who couldn't have been much older than twenty. He'd been stripped and had his wrists lashed to a post, while the "medicine" he'd been dosed with took effect. He turned pleading eyes toward the gate as he heard them approach.

"Master, please. I'll do it; I'll do anything, just...no more of this."

The slaver laughed harshly. "See, he was a bit resistant to the idea, too, but a couple of days like that, having the girls strip to bring his food, a few herbs, and bit more 'encouragement,' and he's changed his tune."

The Beast hung his head in shame, but not before giving Juul a helpless, hungry look.

Juul swallowed hard and looked back and forth between the slaver and the rabbit-beast. She really didn't want to do this but, with another look at the slaver, she realized that he was unlikely to be leaving anytime soon.

"Will...will we be given privacy?" she asked, trying to stall for some time to come up with a way to get out of thi.

The Storm snorted. "Who wants to watch animals rutting?" he sneered, opening the gate and giving Juul a push towards the stall. "Besides, this will be part of your regular 'duties' until you start showing signs that it's taken."

The other Beast whined softly in the back of his throat, either from desperation or dread of the coming weeks.

Juul stumbled into the stall and glanced back at the Slaver. With a sigh she turned her attention back onto the rabbit-beast, softly speaking, "Tell me, what are you called?"

She felt sorry for the beast, but she wasn't exactly willing to just allow her body to be taken by him. If she could, she would just try to make conversation until the Slaver left.

"You can bet he doesn't give a damn about your name," the slaver commented in an amused tone as he pulled out a dagger and cut the ropes binding the Beast's wrists to the post.

"Sh-shikoba," he whispered as he staggered back from the post and turned away from the Storm in a feeble attempt to preserve what little modesty he had left.

The slaver just snorted and shut the two Beasts in the stall together. "Just keep in mind, Beast-girl, if you don't cooperate, we don't have to use any...'tender mercies' on you. You just have to be stripped and tied down." With a cruel chuckle, the Storm headed out of the barn, leaving Shikoba and Juul alone.

Swallowing hard, Juul just sat down in a corner. "H-hey, listen to me Shikoba, my name is Juul..." she looked at the stable door and listened for any sign of movement out there. Determining that the Storm truly had left she continued.

"I can understand your urgency, but we don't need to do this..."

"Yes we do," Shikoba said in a hoarse whisper, turning his head slightly to look at her. "I'm sorry, but I can't take this every day. I tried to refuse, and I thought I'd be beaten. I wish I had been. Instead, they've been killing me with 'kindness.'"

He turned to face her fully. Standing upright and unfettered, Shikoba was still a somewhat short man, though his legs were long and lean. He appeared to be in better condition than the slaves like Leah who were forced to do hard labour. Shikoba was thin, but not unhealthily so, and bore very few scars across his skin. But his deep brown eyes were unnaturally bright and there was a flush beneath the light brown tone of his skin. Stripped as he was, there was no mistaking what he was feeling at the moment.

"I still don't want to do this," he said, "But I need to."

Juul flushed hotly and averted her eyes. Desperately she tried to think of something, anything that she could do to avoid what was going to be coming. After a moment, she landed on something her friend Varya had told her.

She swallowed and forced herself to look right into Shikoba's eyes. "There....there is another way we can do this that wont require us to..." she blinked and flushed brightly. "And they wont know..."

[Darastrix]

"Why do you think my hands were tied?" he asked, approaching Juul slowly. "It doesn't have to be bad--I can treat you gently. But if we don't...." Shikoba's voice trailed off.

"I..." she looked away from him briefly and sighed. "I'm just...I'm just going to do this for now," she whispered with a fierce blush, moving to kneel down in front of him. Her mind was racing and her heart was pounding.

With no offense to the bunny - to Shikoba - she really didn't want this at all. She had plans...or at least ideas of the man she wanted and he, at least in this situation, wasn't it. Closing er eyes, she leaned forward with a small shudder...

The beleaguered Beast was too desperate to put forth more than a token protest at Juul's actions. When she was done, he sank to his knees, panting softly. After a few moments, he spoke, keeping his eyes to the floor. "And what good is that going to be when they decide to check you to make sure we did our 'duty?'"

Juul blinked and hung her head. She hadn't considered that, nay, she hadn't even thought of that at all. "Listen," she started softly, still trying to work the taste out of her mouth. "Listen...if...if they check me and find that we hadn't done the...that..." she cut of blushing and shivered a little, squeezing her eyes shut.

"I'll profess that I was too scared. Which I am. Shikoba, I've never done this....that, before. I realize they may not care, but at least the punishment shouldn't fall on you. I hope..."
