Etch smiled. "It would be an honor. And I will manage well enough. Lead the way?"

[Kender Bard]

"Of course."

Meeka walked calmly through the underground Humontis, moving with a surety of step that was often absent from her thusfar on their journeys. Truly, it was underground that she felt most comfortable.

Walking far from the city proper, she began to lead Etch through a series of catacombs. At length, she stopped in front of one entrance that could barely be called a tunnel - it was very narrow and uneven. In front of it were several stone markers.

Etch stopped with her and looked at the markers before holding her hand, not sure what to say...

[Kender Bard]

For her part, Meeka remained silent. If she had anything to say, she already said it - or was keeping it to herself.

After a long few moments of just watching, she turned and started heading the other way with him. "Where do we begin to find your family?"

Etch remained silent for another moment or two before speaking. "We may hear something about them in Ilyamen. My family occasionally went there to trade."

[Kender Bard]

"Then are we going to Ilyamen again?" Meeka inquired, glancing at Etch with uncertainty. "I meant what I said before - I don't want to be a source of slowing your religious activities down."

Etch smiled and squeezed Meeka's hand. "You are not a hindrance..there is more to my pilgrimage then going from temple to temple and praying. My life and all my experiances are all interwoven one way or the other into my faith."

[Kender Bard]

Meeka paused and traced on the swirling tattoos on Etch's body. "Truly?" She hugged him close, abruptly. "Then that takes a substantial amount of worry off of my shoulders. Let us go to Ilyamen.. please."

Etch wrapped his arms around Meeka's shoulders and kisses the top of her head. "Very well my love." He smiles and takes hold of her hand before walking with her.
