[Devon]

Forrest nodded, very sure in his ability to paint a portrait of Charminei and her family. "Of course I'd be happy to do so. Whenever you and your family are ready for me to paint it, I'll get to it. Would it be much of a problem for you to stay still for an hour or so?"

[Kender Bard]

Charminei winced. "Eh I'm sure I can find something to keep me occupied for an hour that wouldn't require much moving. But my daughter's a little imp and it's going to be a hell of a time to get her to stay still unless she naps."

[Devon]

Forrest nodded. "It'll be hard keeping her attention for so long, but I'll have to try if I want the family portrait to turn out well." Forrest glanced to Vui and back to Charminei. "Where may I stay while I am in the care of your people?"

[Kender Bard]

Charminei crossed her arms, thought, and then snapped her fingers. "I guess there's nothing for it. Vui, go get one of the collapsed huts and get someone to help you set it up. It will be our guest's lodgings."

Vui bowed and hurried off to do her Elder's wishes.

"I'll let my brother know that you are here as a guest of mine," Charminei informed Forrest. "As well as my husband when he returns from his duty. I'd advise you not talk to anyone who doesn't approach you first. I can't be everywhere at once, and I have enough to do without keeping an eye on you to make sure that nobody starts any trouble. Hope you understand."

[Devon]

"Yes I understand," Forrest replied to the elder. "Thank you again for letting me stay here." Bowing, he turned and left her hut. Looking around to see where Vui was going to put up his hut, he went towards that area to sit nearby. Pulling out his pad and pencil he took in the sights of the village and started to sketch the people of Clan Char.
