Amaro smiles. "I'd love to," he replies. "Just name a time. Although I'm afraid I haven't done a lot of riding since I was 17. One of the few things I regreted about leaving home was that I had to leave Rolan behind."

Cass gives Amaro a sympathetic look; she would hate to have to give up Smoke. "Well, I'm free tomorrow afternoon. I bet it'll start coming back once you have a horse under you again," she says.

Amaro thinks quickly. He has the afternoon shift of monster hunting tomorrow, but it wouldn't be hard to switch with one of the morning hunters, and he can shoo Acqua over to Alethia's for the day, that should keep her out of mischief. "Tomorrow afternoon sounds fine," he tells Cass. "Should I meet you at the guild?"

"It'd be the easiest thing," Cass says, nodding. Of course, word will spread like wildfire through the guild, but that's bound to happen sooner or later and the Maestra really doesn't care who knows her affairs. "If I've not made it to the porch or common room by the time you arrive, just ask someone to fetch me."

"all right," Amaro agrees. Seeing that their glasses are empty and knowing he does need to get home and get dinner ready, Amaro stands up and smiles a little at Cass. "Well, farewell until tomorrow then?"

"Farewell indeed," Cass replies, standing as well. "Forces only know what some of the kids have gotten into while I've been gone. Though it's never as bad as Brenna makes it out to be," she says, rolling her eyes. "Stuffy woman. I look forward to seing you tomorrow."
