Lya swayed back and forth slightly as she listened, her attention rapt. Naturally, the siren call of peace was alluring.

"Would it force our hand into any wars we didn't want if, oh, say that Khelek and Ronduin were both members and both started to fight with one another. Or, if it came to that, could we stay out of it?"

[Devon]

"Well," Trevor started. "We'd actually have to hold a few meetings first to see how something like that would go. But I believe if two nations can't come to an agreement without war, the other members of United Naruta can and should take a stance of neutrality."

[Kender Bard]

Lya frowned a little at that but gave no other indication of disagreement. "Well, good sir, I think we'll need time to deliberate on the matter. After all, when approaching the Kingdom, it's a lot of area to consider about in discussion. I'm not sure how long we will be meditating on the matter, however. I believe the wisest course may be for you to return to Reave or wherever else you desire to go and when we come to our decision, a message will be sent to either you or River. Does that sound fair?"

[Devon]

Trevor nods, "I understand your majesty. Thank you both for seeing me." Standing up Trevor went to the door and opened, waiting for the Queen and King to leave before he did.

Lya smiled and curtsied in return, taking Shadow's hand as she headed on out. "That wasn't so bad, was it?" she whispered to her husband.

"I guess not," Shadow murmurs, walking with Lya. With her holding his hand though, it would be difficult to miss that Shadow's shaking just slightly. He might be better able to hide it then Cascata, but Shadow's experience with the Clears left mental scars.

Privately, Shadow makes a note to have a little wine before bed, wanting to sleep too deeply to dream tonight.
