[Northen Light36]

Saph, exhusted from his trip but determined to follow the order contained in his vision, makes his way into the clan. Pausing by the wall, he cups his hand and creates a drink for himself. The effort it takes makes him wince though. This dry land is no place for a Water.

After a moment of thought, the worn out traveller gets directions to the temple and makes his way there, wondering how he'll ever find the Christain he was ordered to help.

Christian was standing outside in the front of the temple of Taed in Linnod. With his hands crossed in front of his chest, he had his eyes closed while he was thinking on his next move. He and the others in this temple couldn't afford to stay here much longer, but they had to make preparations for some place more solid to stay.

Saph leans against a wall nearby, rubbing his temples to try and relieve his headache a little. "Forces, this is impossible. Even in Naurorod, how many men must there be with the name Christian?" he mutters aloud.

[Devon]

Christian turns his head and idly glances at Saph. Unfolding his arms from in front of his chest, he casually walks over to the man. "I don't know how many men in Naurorod are named Christian, but you have found at least one. What do you want from me?"

Saph sighes, aware his story will probably sound crazy... But then, this guy looks like a priest... "I had a... vision a few nights ago that showed me... some sort of fight and then what basically looked like hell unleashed and told me if I wanted to stop it, I needed to come here and help a man named Christian..."

[Devon]

Christian looks at Saph with a questionable expression on his face. "A vision about fighting and hell unleashed and you were even sent here to help me. Wow, that is quite a tale sir. The only fight I can tell you about now is the one Efil's follower's have started with Taed's. They destroyed Athrug and I plan on hitting them back twice as hard."

Christian pauses and turns around heading for the temple entrance. "Being the High priest I am a religious man, so your claim of having a vision isn't going to fall on death ears. You look tired, come inside with me."

"I am tired," Saph admits, following Chirstian. "Naurorod's no place for a Water, really." He pauses as Christian's words sink in. "Wait... Someone destroyed Athrun? They attacked a Force Home?!" he asks, his eyes wide with shock.

[Devon]

Christian nods solemnly, while leading Saph inside and ordering with a silent wave of his hand for one of the priestesses to get Saph nourishment. "Yes it was Efil's army. I know because I left right before they swept through the place. I haven't been back to see it for myself yet, but I...if Athrug were the least bit okay she would have made it back to me."

Christian turns around abruptly and faces Saph. "If you are here to help me, then help me. For causing Athrug to fall, Efil's forces must pay."

"I'll help," Saph agrees, then asks gently, "Who's 'she'?"

[Devon]

Christian hadn't really talked about her at all since she left. Not by name anyway, nor out loud. Most of the time he would just quietly think of her to himself, so seeing no harm in telling Saph he replies. "Her name is Thessa, she is a priestess of Taed. She stayed in Athrug with me."

"From your tone, it sounds like she was a good friend," Saph replied, his tone full of sympathy. "I'm sorry for your loss, Christan." Saph pauses for a moment then adds, "I'm sorry, I never gave you my name, did I? It's Calder. Saph Calder."

[Devon]

She was more than a good friend, he thought to himself. Shaking his head to Saph he replies, "Don't worry about now, I can only move forward. Well Saph, how exactly were you told to help me in your vision?"

Saph sighes. "That's the problem. I wasn't told how to help you," he replies.

[Devon]

Christian stares at Saph for a while and shakes his head. Just like the Forces sometimes, they never give a clear answer so we are left to work with our own strength. "It isn't safe for me to move out in the open with Efil's forces hunting down any member of Taed's priesthood. I need you to go to Maelstrom take with you a letter I'm going to write for you. It'll have all my instructions to the head priest there. After that return here."

Christian turns around and goes off to write the letter he was going to have Saph deliver for him.

Saph sighes, Message boy... Joy... inwardly, but the only visible reaction he has is to nod. "all right." At least it'll give me a chance to catch a few moments of Flash's time.
