Juliete opened the door to the musty bar, strode quickly across the room and sat down at the counter. She ordered a light fruit drink for herself, simply to start the night off.

A bearded man glanced at her slyly from down the counter. Juliette smirked and buttoned the top of her revealing bodice. However, she only buttoned one button. She was free, beautiful and young and still had the rest of the night.

Elias came in not long after, surveying the place swiftly as he always has been taught to. For the look of the bar he noticed that its patrons were well mannered, seeming to be there to just have a good time. It reminds him of back home, a feeling he likes very much when he decides to be social. He did notice in particular a certain young lady at the bar, but decided to not be far too obvious about it, he didn't exactly have his grandfather's charms when it came to women.

He walked up to the counter and strategically sat a seat spaced away from her by one stool. He looked to the bartender and ordered whatever it was the house was serving as a special. He tended to like house ales, nice and dark without tasting like a bitter syrup. He waited for his drink to arrive, and took a couple nonchalant sips before deciding to break the ice.

"What brings you to this part of town miss? You don't feel the loveliness of springtime here that you do most other places in Talen'sul."

As the handsome man sat down at the bar Juliette smiled coyly at him and inched into the next seat so they now sat side by side.

"I came here for a drink and a..." she smiled wickedly. "Good time. Do you know where I can get some?"

Elias found himself truly surprised at how forward the woman seemed towards him. Maybe he made the right move, maybe she's just desperate, he really didn't know how to read women anyway. Admitting that though, he found himself strangely amused at the situation.

"Depends on what you like to do for fun ma'am," he takes another sip out of his cup, "Perhaps you have already found it, I can't know for sure until I get to know you."

He met her eyes when he spoke, out of natural politeness learned from his upbringing, but otherwise he acted as casually as possible. He would much rather this be a progressive thing, as he always imagined these things occurred anyway. He did put a couple extra copper down to buy the woman her next drink, taking her hint to mind.

Damn, she thought, this guy is handsome. Then Juliette blushed. How stupid of me, she thought again, he doesn't even know me! Love at first sight?

Even though she was new to the area, she needed a good time. Badly. Her entire life Juliette wanted to be a bad girl and simply have a good time with life, but she didn't want to look ignorant or like a hooker. Great, she thought, I'm looking like one now!

"OH I apologize for my boldness. I think I had a bit too much to drink...well, what is your definition of 'fun'?"

Elias couldn't help but chuckle a little, he tried hard to make it seem that it wasn't at her, he didn't want to push her away or anything just yet. He had estimated her the wrong way it seems, so the fault is more on him then anything else. Recognizing this, he met her apology with a smile.

"Well, lets see... I'm not sure what Talen'sul has that is open at this hour of the night. Usually to have fun you just have to learn to enjoy the company of those your with. So, if you don't mind relaxing perhaps we can chat for a little bit, whether you want to stay in this old bar or not is up to you."

He was thinking that the bards guild is a lovely place to just enjoy a night. The music was always heartening and the bar there was always stocked. Not to mention that if he really didn't mind giving away who he was he could always flash the Stark family crest and get a good table somewhere.

No places open except maybe a few lodges? This didn't bother Juliette at all; she was with a handsome man she had taken an odd and fast liking to in a musty bar tucked away in a dark forest. Food, drink and a conversation suited the female just fine. However she wasn't impressed with her first impression she had given him: flaky and almost hooker-ish, if there was such a thing.

Juliette was all but those two personalities. She looked inside a person, and she knew that you can tell how a person truly feels or simply is by what they say in a first meeting. She knew that this man-- a mysterious one who had not revealed his name and neither had she-- (if he was here to simply take advantage of her) would have made that move already. But he wanted to get to know her now, and simply talk. Juliette thought about this for a moment before replying.

"I'm fine staying here," she said simply, then added: "Unless you would like to go somewhere else. However I don't know where you'd want to go at this time of night."

Juliette paused for a moment and took a sip of her tart drink which sent her taste buds on a journey.

"Who are you, by the way?"

Elias took another sip out of his cup, he did enjoy the drink and worried about it getting too warm if he neglected it. As he thought about it this tavern had always treated him well. It wasn't like there was much else to do at this hour except for go to an inn, which has worse selection of ale but better live entertainment most nights.

"I'm fine with sticking around until you are ready to go ma'am. I am Elias Stark by the way, I'm sorry for not telling you earlier. May I ask your name?"

He waited patiently for her to reply, he really didn't expect too much to come from tonight. That is, unless she recognizes the Stark name, but that brand is the other side of the world. He didn't expect anyone to really know the name.

Until I'm ready to go? she thought. Does he mean go back to his place? Juliette giggled quietly at the thrilling thought. She knew that she could be framed as shallow, but she didn't care. Elias was a handsome man with a flawless personality. Love at first sight?

"I am Juliette." she said.

He thought that she was attractive, but otherwise didn't know which way things would go. This was his first time in this situation for a long while, and he knew that this sort of venture is what a lot of men and women come to this place for. He did have a certain lack of tact though, it came from a history of travel and not really having to worry about social graces.

"Juliette, are you from around these parts? I have only come by recently to tell the truth. I have lived most my life at Humontis."

He smiled internally at himself, smalltalk would be a good way to pass the time. While the woman seemed to be giving off an aura of sexuality he really didn't bring his mind to guessing what she wanted. He would leave it to her to tell him whenever she was ready to do so.

Juliette sighed, getting bored by the minute. The conversation was...fine...but the general atmosphere was getting dull. The band with it's ancient members sounded out of tune and tired; her drink had tasted refreshing at first, but she waving second doubts as to how long it had been since someone had opened that bottle. Dull conversations sounded around them in minor undertones, adding to the dreariness of the tavern. Juliette ran her tapered fingertips along the smooth wood of the bar. Why in the hell did I pick this place? she thought, quickly looking around. There were only a few guests at tables in the corners, the dying band, and the bar-tender who looked like he had seen better days. Of all the hip and moving places I could have picked in the city, I have to be falling for a random guy in a run-down tavern. This is just great. What the hell am I thinking?

Juliette faced Elias one more, her eyes narrowed slightly. "No, I'm not from around here," she answered quickly. "I come from up north."

((Some people prefer to play out a relationship gradually, Juliette.. if you wanted more action (and in this context, I'd assume sexual) then you should have requested a sexual rp/plot.. romance takes more time to develop in the real world usually...))

I must be the first Mind in the history of Naruta to ever start down the road to becoming an alcoholic, Locke mused, somewhat bitterly, as he pushed the door open and stepped inside. It was weak-willed of him, but without being able to leave Talen'sul that evening, he just didn't want to think about his shame. Not tonight.

Getting drunk was not a good alternative, but at least imbibing and the hangover to come would keep him from thinking about it.

The Mind sat at the counter one seat away from a couple immersed in conversation, and ordered a steak with potatoes, carrots and broccoli, along with a large bottle of spirits. He was dipping pretty far into his travel fund, but then, when one could teleport, they didn't always need much money.

Locke leaned his staff against the bar and shed his backpack, along with his mantle, placing both at his feet.

Brooke smiled as she saw the blonde take a seat at the counter and finished her own drink quickly before rising and approaching him. He wasn't her usual type--no wings, for one--but he still had a kind of cuteness about him, despite the scarring on his face. Or maybe that was the drink; she couldn't tell sometimes. She shrugged mentally. Either way, he looked good to her at the moment, moreso than anyone else there that night.

"Helloooo," Brooke said with a giggle, taking the stool beside Locke, batting her eyelashes. "What's a man like you doing here all alone?"
