[Kender Bard]

Talon and Alethia stared in shock, though Talon was the first to regain his voice.

"There's... an entire land...? Over the sea?"

"I think that's what he just said dear," she murmured.

Talon looked torn between utter excitement and a touch of desperate need. "Can you get us a map or tell us how to get there? Please?"

[Northen Light36]

"Breath Talon," Amaro chuckles, appearently unaffected by the news except that his eyes are bright with excitement.

Flash chuckles and explains how to get to Contrasta before asking, "What was it you all wanted for a reward for saving Laura?"

[Kender Bard]

"Ah, two things now that I think about it," Talon remarked. "The first, is hmm... home protection you could say. We're going to be going to see Contrasta, and might not be back for a while. I'd like promise that my house won't be gone when I return, as is sometimes the case. The other would be the same deal for a house that will belong to Amaro." He nodded to his best friend. "He was just as much, if not more, help in rescuing Lady Laura."

Flash nods. "I'll let Saph and Laura know," he promises. "It should be no problem at all." Glancing at Amaro, with a flicker of reconision appearing in his eyes, Flash adds, "Have you chosen a house?"

"No," Amaro replies. Flash nods.

"Then just stop by and let Saph or me know which house you decide on," he tells the group, then smiles. "And I hate to chat and run, but I should be getting back to my family." Flash starts to leave, then stops. "Oh! Before I forget, there were a pair of twins with you? Laura would like to adopt them and Saph wants to meet them. Are they still with you all?"

[Kender Bard]

"Ah, Raindrop and Teardrop," Talon remarks warmly. "No, they stepped out with Amaro's little brother to explore the town. Would you like me to go fetch them?"

Flash considers that for a minute then shakes his head. "No. Let them have some fun for awhile," he decides. "Poor kids deserve it from what I've heard. But could you bring them up to the house when they come back?"

[Kender Bard]

"I will," Talon promised. "Thank you for everything you've told us, sir."

[Northen Light36]

"After all you've done for my family, it was the least I could do," Flash replies, before waving and walking off.

"So," murmurs Amaro. "Another land over the sea."

[Kender Bard]

"How soon can we go?" Talon asked.

Alethia turned away, going to another room, her eyes alight with excitement but her brow furrowed and mouth set with worry.

Amaro rolls his eyes at Talon. "Settle down," he replies, amused. "For one thing, we just got here. Vortai, Acqua and I need to chose a house and I admit, I could use a little more time to recover before we go running off again."

Acqua slips into the room behind her sister. "What's wrong?" she asks Alethia quietly.

[Kender Bard]

"Amaro's saying it all, really," Alethia remarked. She smiled, in a melancholy way. "I want to go exploring too, Acqua, but on the other hand, I don't want to drag Spice and the rest of you all around the world. It's tough, sometimes, being a mother. I can't just do what I want. Do you think we can convince Talon to sit still until at least Amaro is fully recovered?"

Acqua giggles. "Sis, if I have to I'll tie him up," she promises. "We won't go anywhere until Amaro and you are ready." That said, Acqua reaches out to give her sister a hug and admits softly, "I'm not ready to go dashing off either just yet. And I'm pretty sure Vortai will agree with whatever Amaro and I want, so Talon's out voted anyway."

"That suits me just fine," Alethia admits, hugging her sister back. She pulled back to look her in the eyes, and remarked warmly, "It's good to have you home, little sister."

"It's good to be home," Acqua replies, honestly meaning it. "And I promise, I won't run off again. I might go off on my own occassionally, but I won't just take off without telling anyone." Yawning, she adds, "Faith would have a fit, then chase me back home for you and Amaro to lecture."
