Oime held the one container with one hand and obediantly took the other from Lady Charis. "Um... thank you," she said. Confidence? That was something Oime had never found in herself. Oime bowed awkwardly. She then moved aside so the other people there would have a chance to see the lady.

[Kender Bard]

((Hmm. *ponder* Is she going to drink the potion Charis gave her or something else?))

Oime looked on at the other people who had come to see Lady Charis. They seemed so excited. Maybe they knew something she didn't. She lifted the bottle in front of her face and looked at it cusiously. What could be so... interesting about a potion? It wouldn't hurt if she at least tried. She set her potion on the ground and then opened the one Lady Charis had given her. Maybe she could discover the grandness of the potions. She put it to her lips and drank the concoction. With every drop flowing into her she felt something being washed away. What was it she wondered. When she had drained the potion she lowered it and looked around. There was no doubt in her mind something in her had changed. Still she did not know what. She picked up her own potion again and went to Lady Charis. "Lady Charis? What is this? What did it do to me," Oime asked of the woman?

Lady Charis smiled sweetly at Oime, even as she poured some of her concoction into smaller vials. "Why, child, it cleanses the very spirit of a person. The experience is different for everyone. Some people lose something they did not like, or they gain something they do. Sometimes both."

The current customer of hers was staring raptly at the bottles, fingering his coin purse. "Personally, I feel my fear just wash away when I take a drink of the stuff. My wife says she feels much more empowered."

How can a potion do such things, she wondered? "Lady Charis I apologize. Really I thought less of your potions than what they really are. Please forgive me. Now I understand. I cannot measure up to such talent." She had said all of that with a firm smile fixed upon her face. Now she knew what she lost. Fear. She had spoken without regret and it made her feal like a better person inside. Lady Charis was right. She had given Oime confidence and the girl was eternally greatful.

[Kender Bard]

"I wouldn't say that," Charis remarked delicately. "Tell you what; return in a week's time and I'll see what I can teach you, hmm? Don't forget to tell your friends to come and get their own elixir."

Oime bowed again. "Thank you Lady Charis," she said eagerly. She backed away and left with both the empty potion bottle and her own potion bottle. For once she was walking home with a smile.

((You know, I lost track of the topic with Oime and Kalian. Have those two made friends at all?))

(Sort of I suppose.)

((I ask cause I'm wondering if maybe we could bring Kalian in on this at all? I mean if it doesn't seem likely, that's okay.))

(I aim to please ladies. Here comes Kalian.)

Kalian walked through the streets with a bored look on his face, stopping to notice the large crowd who had gathered around the potion seller. Snapping to his senses he franticly pats his chest and searches the area around him. "Oh..Lucid is with his grand parents today," Kalian sighed. "Thats right I promised mother I'd take a look at this place for her." Walking toward the potion seller he brushes into Oime. "Oh, hello again."

Oime stopped and looked up into the familiar eyes of Kalian. She seemed to gather more assurance behind her smile. It had been a while since she last saw him. However this time he did not have Lucid with him. "Hey Kalian," her tone was a tad bit excited.

"How are you doing Oime? Have you seen that potion seller yet, I'm came to check out what she was selling."

[ilaera]

Oime held up the empty bottle. "Actually I have. I don't what was in this but I'm no longer afraid. I feel like I couldn't be anymore happier." She lowered the empty bottle again and turned back to where the seller was. She indicated the group of people with a nod of her head, "Lady Charis is right over there. I'm sure she will be glad to see you." Oime glanced at Kalian with bright eyes. She admired Kalian but she knew all to well that he had a woman in his life. She remembered the cute little Lucid and how happy he was.

A light blush colored her cheeks before she looked away from him. "I suppose I should go now... Good luck with Lady Charis and I hope you find what you are looking for." She made a point to keep her face placid as she turned to face him and then continue on.
