"No one person knows everything. Perhaps one of them would know something this one does not and he might not be the leader of the group. Have you considered that?" replies Devi flatly. "I am hardly in arms about the knowledge of the new continent. It is intriguing, yes; but there are more important things to do than indulge my curiosity and before going to any other continents, the situation on this one needs to be normalised."

"How to get them, then?" Aida puts out.

Thessa smirks a little. "Go and get them?"

Aida peers at her. "Those lands are Force-Damned."

The priestess of Taed smiles grimly at that, as if knowing that was a source of pleasure for her.

Ilis looked to Devi, frowning. Well, it is possible they know more, but what more is needed? What they need to do is use the ritual to counter the one already performed, and from the sound of it the more practiced holy people in the party already have an inkling of how to do it.

"What could they tell us that would be important to the now? As much as I love a good inquisition you just said it yourself. Now is not the time. Patience is not a virtue it is a weakness, a certain someone else in this room can attest to that."

Ilis shot a look accompanied by grin at Daminen. He had already gotten past at the hope of the man would notice him, he is just under his usual mood of just being happy hating the man.

Ann bristles instantly, but Damien puts a hand on her shoulder. "Remember your place, child," he tells her, before glancing over at Ilis and adding, "As should you, Exciled." That said, Damien looks over at Shadow. "I wouldn't recomend trying to get them. Those winds are, I suspect, too much for even Lya to handle."

"The Minds here might be able to get in," murmurs Shadow. "But the chances they'd get out alive are slim. I don't think it's possible to get them either."

"I could go there," Aida muttered, a little resentfully. "You underestimate my abilities."

"We're just being cautious," Lya soothes the priestess. Aida frowns and then shrugs.

"Let me try anyway," she replies.

Ilis simply smiles and nods at Ann and Damien before turning his attention back to the crowds.

"My place right now is to help save this continent that these people have forsaken if you are so quick to forget Damien. But it does seem for once you're sentiment about the others reflects my own, I'm sure it won't happen again."

He now silences himself, this company was getting stuffy and he almost wanted to raise a rabble just so he gets kicked outside. This isn't where he is comfortable and his colleagues should see by his sometimes incoherent thoughts that he didn't like it here.

Thessa ignores him - she had already long ago written Ilis off as a fool and didn't want to deal with him. "So are you going, Woman of Fate?"

"The Bane of Hope," Jurek mumbled.

Aida leaned closer and asked, "What was that?"

"You are not a priestess of fate, you are a priestess to the bane of hope," he said calmly and slowly, as if speaking to a stupid child. "As am I."

"And what is that supposed to mean." Seron speaks up, looking at Jurek coldy.

Ilis wanted to kick the man, he didn't care if everyone in this room hated who he was, his ideas, the very fact that he breathes. He dosn't even give a damn if Aida dosn't like him anymore after what he did. But no man lives long after talking down to someone that he respects, whether Ilis is signless or not this will hold true. He stands next to Aida and sends a glare.

"You are in no place to speak like that knave. What makes you so sure you are right, because you're holy book back on you're continent says so? As far as I am seeing from you're little ritual you're religious practices are naught for one. So I would respect it if you you keep you're I'm always right routine silent before I begin to vomit."

He tried as hard as he could to hide he was speaking on behalf of Aida. He knew the woman would distaste him standing up for her as if she was helpless. So he did the next best thing, reacted as if the insult was pointed toward him.

Jurek stares at Ilis like he's the madman. To Seron, he says, "Etaf is the Bane of Hope. Etaf's eyes, do you not educate one another on each other's faiths?!"

Aida has an inkling. "Oh? And why don't you tell us about the other Forces then?"

Jurek now stares at her but then gives a long-suffering sigh. "Etaf the Bane of Hope. Efil the Prolonger of Pain. Taed the Merciful Death. Worg the Killer of Weakness. Thuoth the Hoarder of Secrets. Soahc, the Changebringer."

Serons stares at Jurek. "...Does your entire continent take that view on the forces or just your dismal ...'Empire'?" By now Seron has grown a great dislike for this man and his words.

[Kender Bard]

"Morilanta's Eclipse represents more than just our distaste of the Sun-Dancers," Jurek remarked with contempt. "We worship the darker aspect of the Forces, for one must acknowledge and embrace it in order to accept and be acknowledged."

Shadow stares, then shakes his head in amazed disgust. "Well your people must be a most cheerful bunch, judging by how you dwell on the negatives," he comments. "Life can bring pain, perhaps, but it can also bring joy." Here Shadow pauses to flash Lya a fond smile. "One's fate might make them despair, or it can bring them hope..."

"Save your breath Shadow," Damien growls. "There's no point in arguing with the brainwashed or with fools." He looks at Jurek and comments, "I hope you still consider death merciful in a few weeks. Because if we can't undo the damage you've done, I'm fairly certain we'll all be meeting Tead personally around then." Ann shivers at her uncle's words, but aside from that the child manages to keep her fear in check.

Devi sighs but says nothing, not only having no more to ask, but also doubting if he did ask anything that he'd be able to keep his disgust out of his voice.

"Yes, the Forces have a darker aspect, however there is also the lighter aspect and in order for either aspect to exist or be able to be noticed the other must also exist."

Though the look is a rare one for him, Remiel gives Jurek a disgusted glance. However, he too shivers slightly at the comment that there are only a few weeks left. Returning his expression to normal and inwardly reminding himself that this is one of the times he needs to remain composed, the priest of Efil says softly to Ann, "Please don't worry... We will find a way to stop this before it is too late."

Ilis cracked his knuckles, but was able to refrain from taking a swing at the man. He simply turned his back, to every one, he simply began facing the wall scraching his short beard. A couple of times if one was watching they could see his entire body tremble.

"Lya, Shadow, Damien, Thelon, and your respected holinesses, for those of you that know me you both have a strong distaste for me for one. And for two you know I stick to my ideals to the point of lunacy. I won't let this happen, if I am the last person breathing on this continent I will fight this. I swear on these robes and all they represent."

Now there are several things that have to be pieced together, first of all would be location, second would be the proper ritual. While he would let the more experianced deal with the aspects of the counter ritual, he felt that they would have to find an area opposite the force-damned land, a place force-blessed in every aspect of the word.
