No time for rest|Dark Cloud, Maelstrom

[Kender Bard]

Max smiles gently at her. "If you could wake the rest of my comrades and..." He paused and glanced at his followers, frowning. "Where's Jurek? The priest of Etaf."

[aivea]

"I'll try," Ginger says with a smile. Smiling fading, she looks puzzled and adds, "I'm sorry, we only found the five of you... maybe Jurek is already awake and started looking for somewhere for the rest of you to recover in safetly."

"There was a priest of Etaf with you?" Keele repeats puzzledly. "I can't imagine why they wouldn't be with the rest."

Meanwhile, Ginger gives a light mental "poke" to the still unconcious ones of the priests.

There's no response. It would seem healing water is the best bet.

"I don't think he would," Max remarks doubtfully. "How did you get us out of Dark Cloud?"

[aivea]

"We carried all of you and honestly only saw five not six," explains Ginger. She looks over at Keele before saying, "I think only you and Lyleis are about to wake them... They don't respond at all to when I try using my powers."

Keele nods in agreement before using his healing water to attempt to wake two and Lyleis using the last of his healing water to wake the remaining one.

Andromache jumps slight from surprise when the door opens which earns a chuckle from Malice. Returning, Iskra decides to go ahead and deliever the message first, "The Queen mentioned wishing to see all of you; seemingly for an interview, though none are to be left here. I suppose those who are awake can walk and those who are not can be carried a bit farther; by the way, there is one there who seems to know this 'Lord' Max. You know a priest of Etaf who was found by someone else, correct? He might be there waiting for you."

"When did the King and Queen find out they're here?" asks Ginger, sounding faintly startled.

"I told them," Iskra answers.

"You need to remember your manners, like I said before. For example, you should have asked first," the priestess of Thuoth scolds.

The priest of Taed sighs but says nothing.

The others stir awake, looking confused. Spiridon silently reassures them all.

"To your feet," he orders his men, who rise. "We're going to go join Jurek and the halls of their nobles." This seems to please most of them. "Please, lead us there."

[aivea]

"Right this way," Ginger chirps and leads the way to the palace.

Her companions walk after the ones they found in Dark Cloud.
