The healers smiled in a gentle manner as they fussed over Audra, checking his vitals constantly. "You may sleep if you wish. Ace has surely heard word of this incident and will send another warrior or two over here to ensure our safety."

[Toyoll]

"Wha? Oh yeah....Okay...." Sleep sounded good right now. Nice, warm, soft...

She crawled over Audra to a place not too far off. The she-wolf made the spot more comfortable, removing rocks and rearranging the reeds. Then Nyala curled up, but before she succumbed to the seducing threads of slumber, her head jerked up and she eyed the women again. "You'd better not pull anything..anything tricky....An' don't let me sleep long... Or I'll be mad...." Nyala said through yawns.

With her bushy tail covering her nose and her cold fingers, the vicious Poldora Warrior became peaceful as sleep took hold of her. Nyala's breathing slowed and she finally welcomed sleep, letting it envelop her completly...

((Should we just skip ahead and have them wake up? Perhaps in Ronduin? I think I'd like further confusing poor Nya. XD ))

Audra occasionally cough or attempt to roll over in his sleep but he shows no sign of waking up. It's clear that rest is badly needed and he'd not been sleeping nearly as much as his current condition required.

[Kender Bard]

((If you want them to wake up in Ronduin, then certainly.))

The Healers had continued to work on Audra, but were beginning to tire. Rather than wait for more to come with them, they decided to just have the men Ace sent over bring them to Ronduin, where they could get the care they needed. They were moved into a "healing house" - a place for the sick, though both were kept on only the moderate sickness level. The medicine had worked well on Audra, thusfar, and nobody thought it would be wise to separate Nyala from him.

The mid-day sunlight dripped in the room through a small window, casting a warm glow on Nyala's face. She twitched a wolfen ear and snuggled into the soft blankets, too caught up in the pleasant warmth of mid-sleep to notice.

She inhaled with a smile, making a soft, content growl. Nyala loved the scent of fresh linen....Wait? Linen?

Nyala bolted upright, instinctively whipping out her bone dagger. She froze when she saw Audra in a nearby bed, it took her a long while to figure out where she was through the dissipating fog of drowsiness. "Ronduin..." she gurgled in a voice not her own. She cleared her throat and shook her head, "How long have I slept?.." she wondered aloud.

[Kender Bard]

A man resting up a few beds down called out, softly, "Oh, since they brought you in, and that was a few hours ago. I don't know how long prior to that. You must have needed the sleep."

Audra wakes up and glances around for a few seconds. Noticing he isn't in the same place that he went to sleep, he instinctively tries to sit up quickly to test if he is bound in any way. Bad idea. The mercenary does manage to sit up but starts coughing again and begins to feel rather dizzy. Once the fit passed he asks in the best approximation of a commanding tone that he can manage, "Where is this and what do you want from me?"

The tone clearly won't have the desired effect due to sounded more raspy and quieter than intended.

[Toyoll]

"Then I've slept for too long." she growled, answering the man, but mostly talking to herself.

Nyala whirled around at the sound of Audra's cough, then snickered softly to what he said. "Calm down, mercenary. We're in Ronduin." The coughs upset her though, she thought they would have passed.

She flopped down on her bed with a frustrated sigh, "Who in the name of the Forces is in charge around here?!"

"Strange. I didn't think Ronduin was all that welcoming to male Storms," Audra replies then shrugs before laying down again. "I don't have anything better to do, so I'm going back to sleep. Wake me if someone wants my attention."

With that, he starts forcing himself to go back to sleep.

[Kender Bard]

A healer, a young man this time, paces into the room, a serene look on his face. "Actually, sir Storm, we care not who bears what sign on their body in this building. The sick are to be cared for, no matter who they are." He paces over to Audra's bedside, studying him, touching his forehead and things. "Do you feel better than you did when you first arrived?"

Audra opens his eyes and turns his head to look at the healer before deciding not to question any part of the reply. He swallows his pride a little more and answers honestly, "A little bit. There wasn't any blood when I was coughing a minute ago, unlike when I arrived..."

[Kender Bard]

"Good!" the healer remarks cheerfully. "Then the method is working. Well, then, time for another dose." He walks over to a cabinet, getting things down to mix. "Is there anything we can get you, lady Wolf?"

Audra frowns at the thought of taking another dose of the disgusting medicine but remains silent. He wants to be back on his feet as soon as possible and drinking something that tastes bad is a small price to pay.

[Toyoll]

Nyala sneered, although she wasn't taking it herself, the medicine made her cringe. She had a very healthy respect for Audra's....bravery? Solid stomach? She wasn't very sure of what it was.

When the young healer asked Nyala what she wanted, the Officer's own stomach came back to life with a vengeance, growling and twisting. "Some meat would be great right now." she said, a little more aggressively than intended. "Lots of it."

She frowned a bit as a thought not involving food came to her, "And I want to see Damaris, the Storm pup we came with."

[Kender Bard]

"The Storm girl is at the local temple," the healer said, not ruffled in the least by Nyala's growl and demand for meat. "And if you want fresh, raw meat, well, it doesn't come in great quantities here. We have some, of course, but we have more of fish. I'll fetch you as much meat as I can, but are you opposed to fish as well?" Finished with the medicine, he goes over to Audra and hands it over.
