Swaggering a little, unable to keep from smirking, Alexi approached Ryuk, then held his hand out sideways. "Someone give me a skinning knife," he ordered, and several people checked their persons before a hunter handed a fine blade over. Alexi offered the handle to Ryuk. "You took the bastard down, so you skin him. Slowly, so he FEELS the agony," he said bluntly. "You've earned it, having to deal with that sack of s--t." He grinned. "I accept your loyalty, but I take my own hits. Nice to meet ya, Ryuk."

Charminei didn't think she could stomach this - some of the clanners shared her opinion as well since they dispersed hastily before the blood could fly. Charminei walked off and Thavan bolted after her, crying out, "W-wait! Let's talk."

Charminei blinked, nodded, and led the boy away, but by no means alone.

Charanth eyed Harken and nodded, beckoning and moving away from the gore to come. "Yes?"

Ryuk nods and takes the knife. "My offer is always in effect Sir Alexi. I'll make sure I skin him just right." Ryuk puts the knife where he keeps his other two and grabs the man he is to skin. "Don't worry, you'll probably pass out after the first wave." Ryuk sounds oddly reassuring to the poacher as he drags him off to an empty hut.

Sloan blinked at all this business about assasins. Where he came from, one did the killing themselves. He shook his antlers.

Suddenly bored with this whole thing, Sloan wandered after Ryuk. He was angry at him for taking credit for the capture of Gravak, but he did not know how to proporly skin something and so said nothing.


Aakel, who did not join her fellow Warriors, looked from Thavan to Charminei and found something out of place. Of couse being a Beast gave you wonderous instincts, but Aakel had a powerful woman's intuition. But she didn't give it much thought, instead giving her attention to these people with whom she shared a sign.

"I am a member of the mind clan yet I also hold the signs of fire. I was wishing if I could have some kind of accompaniment to Mentis since I am...not used to travelling alone and I tend to get badly lost easily."

Charanth paused from where he was beckoning to Harken and said, "Of course, sir. You may have the guest quarters attached to my own home. If you don't mind, some clanmates will escort you and your men."

Thrilled with their exotic strangers, the clanmates pratically fell over one another to assist the Beast, showing them where they could rest and some of the hunters and cooks already inquiring as to what they wanted to eat. A couple eyed the food they had over the fire nervously, wondering if they'd take offense.

Charanth said to Harken, "Yes, once we get all this settled down. Please make yourself comfortable where you wish. I'll send someone to you once I have a spare moment."

Harken curseyed and pulled out her book to read, wandering the tents without looking up.

Ryuk returns to Charanth after completing his task, his shirt had a small stain of blood on it, but other wise he was clean. Handing off the knife to the hunter who gave it to Alexi,Ryuk straightens himself out and salutes Charanth. "It is done sir, the poacher is nothing but ash now."

Figuring he wasn't needed, Alexi figured he would tell Charminei he was planning to leave for Ilyamen soon, and went to find her.

Charanth nods. "Good job, Ryuk! I was wondering, did you want another assignment? You've been doing a lot, and we'll be having a bunch of celebrations soon. But if you'd rather keep doing things, I have something for you. Otherwise I know someone else to track down."

[Toyoll]

Sloan was slightly overwhelmed by the Fires' offers. He lifted his hands, "I do not eat meat, vegetables and fruits."

But Aakel was not about to let Sloan have all the attention, "I would like some meat."

The two beasts wandered off, guided by their hosts.

"Anything you have for me to do I'll do it, I just have to make sure I'm back in time to win the tournament." Ryuk keeps saluting. "What assignment do you have in mind for me next?"

Charanth pointed to Harken, and said, "She wants a guide to Mentis. That's a long ways, so I don't know if you'd come back on time. If you don't want to go, I'll fetch, hrm, Ichi to do it."
