Quynh stumbled out the front door of the hostel, panting as stairs are still quite tiering for her. "Hey!..Wait...up!", she cried through deep breaths.

As she wandered onto the beautiful street, she clutched her abdomen, catching her breath. The lane was sunny and people of all elements were busily walking about. Wonderful smells and sounds wafted up to meet them and merchants were waving brightly colored silks and jewelry. Emerald trees shaded beds of gorgeous flowers, tended by a couple of plant aligned earths.

The park could be seen through the wonderful chaos a couple blocks down. Quynh could see snippets of green lawns through the croud.

Stopping when she heard the bat affinity call out, Kaerinn turned and smiled "Hey Quynh, what sorts of music are there to listen to?"

Chast was too far away to hear Quynh's call, so he just continued running. Once at the park, sweet melodies flood in his ears. He looked for the others, but couldn't find them. I was faster than I thought he thought for himself. He went back on his steps and soon found the two female.

"Hey! I won! But let's just say I didn't. I'll pay the sweets" he said enthusiascly.

"Thanks!" said the sandy colored bat.

Quynh smiled to Kaerinn, "All kinds of music, sad, funny, joyous. Ilyamen has much to offer. They get lots of foreign troups too, if we're lucky, they might be at the park. Fire elementals have wonderful talent. It's very different from our music."

Kaerinn smiled "Thanks Chast... That sounds nice Quynh. I've never heard anything but the music of our folk!" she giggled suddenly "My family will never believe this!"

"I heard a few of the bards when I went there. It looks awesome. Even if I can't say where they are from. Let's go, I don't want them to leave!" he said joyfully, walking toward the park.

"Right behind you Chast! Come on Quynh!" Chirped Kaerinn with a bright smile on her face at the thought of hearing something new.

Quynh simply laughed and jogged behind them, her sensitive ears picking up the familiar low base and sharp notes of Earth musicians. She grinned, pearly whites revealed to their fullest.

Once arrived at the park, a few paces behind her companions, she scrambled up the tree nearest to the troup and hung herself up-side down, careful only to grip with her claws and not puncture the bark. She arched her back with a satisfying crack, Quynh then lifted her head parallel to the ground, her extremely flexible spine allowing the bat to do this.

Chast looked at his Bat friend, amazed by her flexibility. He laughed then sat under the three, listening to the beautiful sounds coming from the ministrels instruments. It was like he never heard, so different from Beast songs. He let his mind travel through the foreign country the song was talking about.

Smiling cheerfully as the refreshing music washed over her, Kaerinn scrabbled up the tree, to sit on a branch several feet above Quynh. Putting her arm out, she pulled it into her chest once Poof had landed. Leaning back slightly to look at the stars Kaerinn sighed in contentment.

Matis just plopped himself right on the ground, careless of any grass or dirt stains he'd receive from doing so. Diego scurried about, getting used to the new setting before coming to settle at Matis's side and join him in listenin to music.

"This is great!" Matis enthused with a grin. "I could really get used to the city life."

Kaerinn grinned down at Matis and responded "I couldn't. Not in a million years! There are to many people, and not enough trees. But it's a nice enough place to visit now and again..."

Quynh nodded her agreement. "The cities of Naruta are indeed beautiul, but I still think that we beast types are lucky. We get wide open plains, small cozy homes and we can wander about where we want to. We aren't restricted by roads, rules and other things like that..." Speaking about her homeland, the palid bat felt a tiny twinge of home sickness. She hasn't been there in atleast two years now...

"I think I'll stay here," Matis decided suddenly. "At least until I've explored every inch of the city. What about the rest of you guys? Where are you going to do? What are your plans?"

Chast opened his eyes and stared at the sky quietly. He thought about Seere and curiously, he didn't feel homesick or anything like that. He never really had friends, as he was always with the Elder, and at this point, Seere looked so small and confined compared to the large world. He sighed and looked at Matis.

"I'm thirsty of discovery... I want to see every place in Naruta, even if it takes my whole life! I think I'll maybe stay here for some times, then I'll go and continues my journey. I don't think I'll go to Seere before a long time."

Clouds were floating slowly in the bright blue sky, and Chast smiled.

"Right now I feel so small... Naruta is just so big! I wonder if I'll be able to visit everything before I grow old."
