Gatherings and Plots|Thunderclap, Maelstrom

[Kender Bard]

"Certainly," she answers, with all seriouness. She frowns at Brem. "Well, get me out of here. If we make it to my home in one piece, you'll be greatly rewarded. Both of you."

[iamtuo]

Brem nods. "Yeah of course. Lets hurry." Heads back to the way they came in and carefully looks outside and if it's clear then he'll motion for the others to follow and head outside.

[Northen Light36]

In the distance a large number of mounted guards can be seen riding out of the village. In their wake there is nothing but silence.
"Wonder where they're all going..." mutters the boy.

[Kender Bard]

"Who cares, as long as they're gone?" Charminei snaps, plans already forming in her head. "We should be doing the same. Let's go."

Hawk pauses with Rose to watch the soldiers depart. He's a bit in awe over the spectacle. Once the dust settles, he thinks he sees Brem. "Is that Brem? I can't see through the dust and I dare not use my powers to clear the air."

"I think so," Rose replies, peering through the dust to try and see.

The boy nods. "Come on," he tells Brem. "Let's get out of here."

Brem nods. "Of course." Starts to head back to the inn once everything looks clear. "We still have another couple of people to get out of here."

[Kender Bard]

As the dust settles, Hawk grins, spotting Brem. He takes Rose's hand and hurries over to him.

Brem meets up with Hawk and Rose. "It looks like this is our best chance to get out of here. I have to help Charminei get back to her brother safely, I dont know where the rest of you plan on going.."

[Kender Bard]

"I might as well come with you," Hawk says. "I don't want to travel to Talen'sul on my own."

[Northen Light36]

Rose and the boy look thoughtful. "I think I'd like to go home to the Great River," Rose says at last. "But I'll travel with you until I'm out of Maelstrom." The boy nods in agreement.
"I think I'll go with Rose," he says. "So I guess we're all sticking together for awhile. I'm John by the way."

[iamtuo]

Brem nods. "all right. Lets go." Makes way to the gates to leave the town as quickly as possible.

Rose and John follow Brem quickly, eager to be free of the village.

Charminei and Hawk follow. Once they reach the gates, they break out into a full run.

Brem runs with them, hoping any of the others, especially Charminei will be able to keep up.

Rose and John run, managing (barely) to at least keep the rest of the group in sight.
