Acqua and Taurus enter the store|Maelstrom

"I'm not," he mutters. "It's just when he puts it that way.. we're running a high risk of throwing our lives away."

"And what do you think will happen if we don't take that risk Taurus?" asks Acqua gently. "I don't think those Clears are suddenly going to have a change of heart and stop, do you?"

[Kender Bard]

Taurus shakes his head and sighs. "I just wish there was a different way of going about this. Something less risky."

"If you've got any suggestions, I'm willing to listen," replies Acqua.

Taurus gazes thoughtfully into the distance. "We could use a distraction. Maybe if we find the Mind army and tip them off as to where the Clears are, they'll go and start a fight. During the resulting confusion, we could slip in and take Thelon."

Acqua considers the idea and eventually nods.

[Kender Bard]

Taurus drums his fingers idly on the tabletop. "The question is, where are they? I don't suppose any of your associates in here would have an idea, would they?"

Acqua shrugs. "I can ask around a bit," she tells him. "Think you'll be okay on your own for a few minutes?"

Taurus nods and smiles, relaxing more easily in his chair. "Find out what you can."

Acqua nods and, after quickly finishing her juice, wanders over to a group of theives who've just entered the guild and joins them at their table to talk. At once point it appears that a fight is about to break out, with Acqua reaching for her dagger and one of the men at the table touching the storm symbol on his neck, but the rest of the group quickly calms the pair down. After almost twenty minutes Acqua rejoins Taurus.
"There was a large group of Minds seen heading towards Ilyamen," she tells him.

Taurus raises his brow and motions vaguely towards the Storm. "What was that all about?"

Acqua scowls and shoots the Storm a glare. "He tends to share the opinions of most people in Maelstrom in regards to Water and Wind types and it rubs at his pride that I'm better at this job then he is," she replies. "So he decided to run his mouth off and I lost my tempter. Come on, Gemma should have gotten the things I asked for together by now and we should leave before he does. I wouldn't put it past him to mention the fact there's a Water elemental thief in the city to the guards and give them my description."

"So much for honor among thieves," Taurus mutters under his breath, getting up and leaving.

"Some of us have honor, some don't," Acqua replies darkly, heading for the door. "All I can say is if any member of the guild could prove Ren had given another member of the guild to the Guards he'd be dead before the end of the day." Gemma looks up as the pair enters the store again.
"Just in time Acqua," she remarks, tossing a pack to Acqua. "Everything you wanted is in there, including another knife, just in case. No charge this time, but if you lose your supplies again I swear I'll charge you triple the price of everything just for being stupid." Acqua laughes.
"I'll be careful."
"Good," smiles Gemma. "Oh, I believe that is yours as well." She gestures towards the door and Acqua grins.
"Faith!" Happily, Acqua lets her pet climb onto her shoulder. "I'd hoped she'd come here..." Gemma grins.
"She's a smart animal, it doesn't surprise me she knew where to find you." Acqua nods, smiling.
"Come on Taurus. Let's get out of here before we run into any trouble."

Taurus slips his hand in Acqua's and bows his head towards Gemma. "Thank you for assistance, milady. I assure you, my masters do not let kindness go unrewarded." Grinning, not waiting for an answer, Taurus teleports them as far as he can. (New topic)
