Approaches the village|Thunderclap, Maelstrom

Brem is walking along the path to Thunderclap Village during midday.

[Northen Light36]

"Hold! Who are you and why are you here?" snaps a storm guard, steping out of the shadows of a group of trees, a sharp looking spear in hand.

Brem stops. "My name is Brem and I seek shelter."

[Northen Light36]

"What element are you?" snaps the guard.

[iamtuo]

Brem holds up his right arm to show his storm sign. "Storm."

[Northen Light36]

"Stay here," the guard tells him, although his tone is slightly less rude. "I will see if our leader, Lord Darkstorm, will permit you to stay." With that the guard turns and enters the village.

Brem stays there but brightens up a little at the mention of Darkstorm.

[Northen Light36]

The guard returns. "You may enter," he tells Brem simply as the large, solid looking metal gates swing open. "Go on, hurry up. The gates aren't going to stay open all day.

Brem hurries through the gates. "Thank you."

[Northen Light36]

Behind him the gates are pushed shut and locked by two more guards. Around the town there are Storm elementals training their elemental abilities, bragging about battles they've won to their friends or pushing around the few scattered water and winf elemental slaves that can be seen.

Brem shudders lightly before going to find a place he can have some shelter since that was his excuse after all.

There's an inn not far away.

Brem goes up and enters the inn.

The Innkeeper looks up from yelling at a crying young Water type girl and is suddenly all smiles. "Visiting the village sir? Need a room for the night?"

[iamtuo]

"Uhh..yeah." Brem nods nervously.
