In the Streets of Khelek|Malagard, Khelek

Jadis doesn't care to respond, looking lost in thought at the moment. She idly tucks a stray strand of hair behind her ear as she walks in front of the now content-looking younger girl.

Aideen pauses to glance wishfully in the direction of Talen'sul before following Jadis into the house and glancing around. Seeing no one about, she whispers, "You know, if you helped me escape from here, my grandparents live in Talen'sul. I bet they'd give you some kind of reward for saving me."

"W-what?" Jadis sputters rather loudly, before calming herself and looking down at the girl in wide-eyed interest. She says nothing for a long time, attempting to look completely appalled at the idea while mulling it over in her mind.
"Even if I were to help you," She finally says quietly. "What could I do?"

Aideen grins, this could be her chance to get out of here. "I know the general direction Talen'sul is in, but I don't know my way around here well. I'd freeze before I got into Talen'sul. If I had a guide though..." She trails off and glances hopefully at Jadis.

((OOC: Eee, I have about two days before I have to go to camp XD))

"All the way to Talen'sul..." Jadis mumbles to herself, gazing upward toward the dimly lit ceiling of the Sylphide estate. "I've never been outside of this city." She finishes, taking off her thick fur-lined cloak and handing it off along with her basket to a servant who appears by the door as the two girl enter.

Aideen sighes quietly, a hint of dispair in her eyes. As soon as the servant is gone, she makes one last attempt. "I think I could find the way once we're out of the city," she whispers. "But I'll never make it out of the city alone, the soldiers would stop me. Please, I'm begging you, help me get home?"

Jadis looks outwardly placid and aloof, like she'd never consider something as absurd as the young girl was suggesting. But something about leaving the Crystalands appealed to the ice-elemental. Her father had said that they were in trouble already, since Jokull had betrayed the elementals.
"How sure are you that you could find your way back to your city once we leave?" She asks, sounding rather uninterested in the answer.

Aideen looks hopeful as she stands as tall as she can manage - which, seeing that she's barely 12 and small for her age, isn't all that tall - and replies, "I'm completely positive I can find the way back. My father was training me to be a scout and a tracker and I've got a great memory for direction."
