[Kender Bard]

Enya looks up and bows her head to Damien. "We would, but we tend to get noisy when we argue, and didn't wish to drown you all out. Basically, we are arguing over whether or not we should take care of Darkstorm now or wait and see, much as you all are. Talema and I wish to kill him. Taima wants to probe his mind. Zaccheus and Troy want to ask him to just go away, and Jade desires to work with him. Ultimately, we're torn between rebuffing him or killing him."

"I for one am interested what is actually on his mind. If it matters, I offer my support to probe his mind." Tempest leans back into his chair again.

[Northen Light36]

Damien nods. "That would answer the question of his loyalty..." he remarks. "I agree with Tempest and Tamia."

[Kender Bard]

Lya winced, openly, as did all the Minds not in favor of the probing.
"If he's innocent it could incite a war!" Jade protested. "A war with the Clears and Maelstrom would be disasterous!"

[Northen Light36]

"And if he's not, we might as well walk into Lacuna and say, 'Here we are. Please enslave us too,'," growls Damien.

Tempest starts to look a little irritated. "Very well. But cant you just...probe his mind without him knowing?"

[Kender Bard]

All the Minds shake their head at Tempest.
"Mind probing against one's permission, even if they're not a Mind type, is a form of rape," Jade says delicately. "It carries nearly all the pain, though only on a mental level. And if the person being probed fights it, and they're not a Mind type, it hurts."
"If we did this, and he was innocent, could you prevent a war with your half of the Leadership?" Enya asks Tempest.

Tempest is silent again in apparant thought. "No. And if Darkstorm truely is innocent, that would possibly cause Kimball to side with him, giving him even greater support then I could hope to gather."

[Northen Light36]

"Then what do you suggest we do?" snarls Damien. "It's not as though we can just ask Shadow what happened and Darkstorm was the only one with him when Shadow was caught."

[Kender Bard]

"We can too ask Shadow," Taima interjects. "Would you like us to?" She taps her forehead knowingly.

[Northen Light36]

Damien pauses, then nods. "Yes of course! If you can, then do so so we can get to the bottom of this!"

[iamtuo]

Tempest decides to just watch and wait for the results of this..conversation with Shadow.

[Kender Bard]

Enya nods to Taima, who touches her signs together and falls into a near trance-like state as she reaches meantally out to Shadow.

~Shadow, this is Taima. Can you hear me?~

[Northen Light36]

Shadow's thoughts come drifting back to Taima, startled sounding. "Yes, I can hear you."

[Kender Bard]

Taima takes a breath and tries to describe the situation as best as she can without giving much away - just in case.

~Two Storms have vied for your position as Leader of Storms and it ended in a tie. Now Lord Darkstorm and Lord Tempest are joint Leaders. We are all discussing plans at the moment on how best to approach the situation in Ronduin, but suspicions of Darkstorm are being voiced. What can you tell us of him that could persuade us of either his guilt or his innocense?~

The other Mind types are now focusing as well, their eyes glowing as they 'listen in' on the conversation. The more adept of them even attempt to echo back into the minds of the other Leaders, but it's faint and broken, as if some wind was carrying away the words.
