The feyling in charge of leading this delegate group glanced back over his charges with mild concern. He was from Humontis and so familiar and comfortable with this trip but he knew that not all the feylings felt the same. Those from the mountain reaches, particularly the Sulan Winds, shivered and held tight to hands as he led them deep down under the mountain. There were other ways to get to Obsidian, but he preferred this method, being an Earth-Soil.
The feyling, Isaac, travelled with supreme confidence into Obsidian. After all, Milady Layla maintained the tradition of the open Earth Leader, willing to lend an ear to the people at virtually any time. Since the group was mostly children with Isaac the oldest at roughly twenty years old, the guards weren't sure what to make of the traveling band. They were unarmed and seemed to want nothing much but to speak with Layla. So the feylings slipped by on their mission, unobtrusive and unhindered.
Isaac bowed his head respectfully to the guards within the building as he made to Layla's office. The guard there did pause them then and asked who was the speaker amongst them. Isaac nominated himself and none of the other feylings denied him the right. Once waved through, the other feylings fanned behind Isaac.
Isaac smiled and bowed deeply. "Milady Layla, I am Isaac, a humble and loyal citizen. And I've come to you to discuss matters of grave importance with regards to another peoples to whom I belong. Would you hear me out?"
