Weather and Travel
Winter Conditions: Snow lies 2 feet deep in places, and as much as 15 feet in deep drifts. Snow and ice cover every possible surface. Travel for non-Ices is near impossible.
Spring Conditions: Though the blizzard season has ended, snowfall is still possible, especially in the northernmost reaches. Overall, the thaw has begun, making travel unpleasantly muddy and wet. Care must be taken when attempting to cross waterways that still appear frozen, and there is a danger of avalanches as the snow melts.
Summer Conditions: Most of the slush and snow has melted away, and the mud of the land has hardened though conditions may continue to be overall wet in the far north. While the temperature never gets 'hot', it is comfortably warm.
Fall Conditions: The temperature has plunged back to cold levels. There is frost and freezing temperatures at night giving way to 'cold' dryness in the day. There are sporadic flurries and light snowing.
