Crystalands College

Is it possible to have some form of a university, college or boarding house in the Crystalands? I want my character to be a student so a school would be kinda cool.

The larger cities and capitol of Khelek do have public schools and education is mandatory there, with school being in session for the coldest months, when extra hands aren't needed elsewhere for the limited farming and such. With the harsh conditions, matters of necessity often get priority over education, and as Khelek is traditionally a nation of closed-off people who just tolerate outsiders and are generally set apart from each other, a boarding school or similar is unlikely. And with the Force Home to Thuoth (Force of Thought, Giver of Knowledge, Hoarder of Secrets, and Nerd Amongst Gods) just to the south of Khelek, any who have a strong leaning toward scholarly pursuits can travel to Mentis for continued study.
